PEMBROKE, MA – Marie Peeler, CEO of Peeler Associates, an executive coaching and leadership development firm working with individuals and organizations to increase their leadership effectiveness, has been asked to serve as a panelist at the Nonprofit Consultant Network’s annual public meeting, which focuses on “Issues in Succession Planning.” The meeting will take place from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Friday, May 16, at The Boston Foundation, 10th floor, 75 Arlington Street, Boston, Massachusetts.
The Nonprofit Consultant Network is a greater Boston-based forum for independent consultants who work with nonprofits, government agencies, and the private sector. The Annual Public Meeting will open with a networking period from 12:30 to 1 p.m., at which time the program will start. The meeting is open to the public.
Peeler will speak about issues that sometime occur within executive transition situations in nonprofits, and how to avoid them. Peeler and others will address practical angles regarding interim directors, professional development, and search aspects within a nonprofit executive transition.
“Transitions can be very positive events in the life of a nonprofit organization,” stated Peeler, “but organizations must be deliberate in planning and execution in order to avoid potential issues and ensure success.
“Our panel will be made up of professionals representing a range of fields, and will add important insight for those now dealing with executive transition in a nonprofit setting, or for those who will in the future,” Peeler added. “ I’m honored to have been asked to contribute to this conversation.”
