PEMBROKE, MA, ISSUED JULY 26, 2016… Marie Peeler, CEO and founder of Peeler Associates, an executive coaching and leadership development firm working with individuals and organizations to increase their leadership effectiveness, recently accepted the position of Chairman, Pembroke Public Library Foundation.
The mission of the Pembroke Public Library Foundation, a private 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation, is to cultivate, secure and steward philanthropic gifts that will support the capital, programmatic, and endowment needs of the Pembroke Public Library.
Peeler, a Pembroke resident, has long been a supporter of the Pembroke Public Library. Her additional community involvement includes serving as chair of the Marshfield, Pembroke, Duxbury Business Council (through the South Shore Chamber of Commerce), member and past-chairman of the board of the Old Colony YMCA, member of the Pembroke Advisory (Finance) Committee, and volunteer for the Bay Circuit Trail Alliance and her local animal shelter.
Deborah Wall, director of the Pembroke Public Library, said, “We are excited at the prospect of Marie guiding the Pembroke Public Library Foundation. Marie is a longtime, passionate library user, and we know that she will advocate for expanding our offerings and providing more to our patrons. Marie is a wonderful choice for this position.”

She has also received advanced training in and is authorized to use the Leadership Maturity Framework (LMF) and Profile (MAP).
