Marie Peeler (Peeler Associates) to Present Workshop at Dress for Success Affiliate Conference, June 25

PEMBROKE and BOSTON, MA – Marie Peeler, CEO of Peeler Associates, an executive coaching and leadership development firm working with individuals and organizations to increase their leadership effectiveness, has been asked to present a workshop at the 2014 Annual Dress for Success Affiliate Leadership Conference.   The conference will take place June 23 through June 25 at the Colonnade Hotel in Boston (120 Huntington Avenue). Peeler’s workshop is scheduled for Wednesday, June 25, from 8:45 a.m. – 11:45 a.m.

Founded in New York City in 1997, Dress for Success is an international non-profit organization working to promote the economic independence of disadvantaged women by providing professional attire, a network of support, and the career development tools to help women thrive in work and in life.

The affiliate leadership conference is held annually to provide affiliates with the tools and information that will help strengthen their programs and organizations while increasing the impact that they have not only on the lives of their clients but also on their communities.

Peeler’s workshop will be attended primarily by executive directors of Dress for Success affiliates who are looking to enhance their leadership abilities. Throughout her discussion of how to be a more effective leader, she will address the cultivation of creative competencies that facilitate creative leadership and identify the reactive tendencies that hold leaders back.

“Leaders can spend much of their time caught up in being reactive. To break that pattern, it’s important to understand how shifting our mindsets can lead to being more effective, productive, and satisfied as a leader,” said Peeler.

“Dress for Success is a great organization that positively impacts real women’s lives around the globe on a daily basis,” she added. “ I am honored to have an opportunity to help their affiliate directors understand how to become better leaders, and to have that knowledge shared for the benefit of others.”
